Abigail Georgia Turns Seven

Abbie turned seven years old on April 15th. She was so excited for this birthday because she got to share it with her new little sister!  

Abbie was very helpful getting everything ready for the party. She loves to create and decorate like her mom. 

Abbie just loves her little sister! They share a very special bond! 

Abbie loved the food for the party! She is such a little foodie!

The family gave Abbie a rain coat...green polka dot (her favorite color is still green!) 

Her cousin Aliya sent these Minnie Mouse ear muffs...which Abbie loved! Abbie also got glow in the dark bubbles, bracelet kit and a barbie, pez dispenser and more. Thanks everyone for the gifts, they were very thoughtful!

The rest of the party, Abbie wanted to wear her rain coat! She loves it and has been excited when it's raining when she leaves to school because she gets to wear her cool raincoat! 

Abbie loved sharing her birthday with Brooklyn! She was so intent on making sure Brooklyn had a wonderful day too! Such a good big sister! 

These two have such a special bond! It's wonderful to see them together!

Looking so grown-up at seven. I keep telling her to stop growing up but, she just says, "Mom, I have to...besides, you let Isaac get older!" I guess she has us there, just stay my little girl as long as you can.

Abbie loved the food. She is such a foodie! She was excited for all the wonderful, yummy choices!

After the party, she got in her pajamas and read the book "sisters" they they recieved for their birthday! They love that book! 

Abbie, you are such a ray of sunshine in our lives! You are the best helper, creative, wonderful, funny, happy and beautiful, inside and out! We love you to pieces....

Abbie always tell me, " Mom, I know why you love me...

Me (mom)..."why's that!"

Abbie..."because I'm me!"

That is so true Abbie!! We love you because you are you...and you are perfect, just the way you are!

Brooklyn Avery Turns 1

 Brooklyn turned One Year Old on April 15th. She is the joy of our lives and we love her SO much! She was able to taste her own birthday cake and once she put her hands in it...well, she decided to skip the hands part and go straight with eating the cake with her mouth. It was SO cute! 

Loving eating her cake! We didn't let her eat that WHOLE cake because we didn't want her to get sick but, she did love destroying most of the cake! 

Abbie loved watching Brooklyn eat her birthday cake!

Brooklyn wanted to eat her cake before she ever blew out the candle. Mom had to help her blow out her one candle. 

Brooklyn opened her presents. She received an outfit from her family. 

All of the kids wanted to help her open her presents. 

Brooklyn's favorite present was a hot pink wing back chair. She kept climbing in it and jumping in the seat. That night, Abbie read her their "sister's" book they recieved for their birthday. 

All of the party decor was aqua and yellow! The theme was "April Showers bring...Birthday Sisters!"

Everything yellow and aqua! Even the strawberries were covered in yellow and aqua chocolate!

DIYers Dream Garage Sale!!!

Yep, it's here!!!! I am doing a garage sale Saturday May 5th!! At 3131 S 1075 W Syracuse Utah. I am letting all my family and friends know because I don't want any grief this time that I didn't let them know...so consider yourself warned:   THERE WILL BE MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF FURNITURE AND DIY PROJECTS UP FOR SALE.....SO MANY THINGS THAT I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD EVER SALE....I AM....SO,with a tear in my eye, I am letting things go of lots of stuff, so we can move to Kansas and begin a new adventure with Reed in graduate school.

SO, COME AND CHECK IT OUT....IT'S KINDA BIG!!!

Easter 2012

Easter this year was simple, yet fun.

Each of the kids got a bunny face sucker. 

Isaac got a robot that never falls off a surface. It turns at the last second. He loves it!

We had Easter dinner with my sister Jennie and her family. It has started to become a tradition to have Easter with their family and we will be sad that we are moving to Kansas and can't do this tradition anymore. 

I pressed the napkins into bunny's for the table. Abbie loved helping me with this and helped tied the bows. 

I dyed blown eggs with silk ties from an idea that Annette sent to me. Very fun!

Then we hid Easter eggs. This year we hid a silver and golden eggs. We buried the silver egg in a small gravel pile by the stairs and the golden egg in the light fixture.

The last egg to be found was the golden egg. Abbie finally spied it in the light fixture and everyone cheered when someone finally found it!

The rest of the beautiful day was spent outside enjoying family time. The boys are becoming quite addicted to playing basketball. Reed was playing with them and trying to defend against both boy's balls. They had a great time together!
