Family Reunion

Well, we are heading off to sunny....wait a minute...the forecast says afternoon showers and we are heading up the mirror lake highway to the mountains where my aunt and uncle have a cabin in Uinta lands. In other words, it is going to be a fun family reunion. It is MY immediate family. Just a few years ago, we decided that with my parents having eight kids, we needed to start our own reunion. It really was an excuse to get together. We are all close and love that our kids are growing up together. We've always made the effort to be together. This reunion we will have 17 adults and 15 kiddo's(my aunt and uncle are going to be there too). So, we each take a meal and cook for 30 people. It makes it simple and we get to all hang out for a few days. I had to plan the reunion last year and my sister below me is planning it this year. I am SO glad we started this tradition and sad that my brother won't be there this year. We are super excited his wife is coming with the kids. I am so thankful that she wants to be involved because we all love her and the kids and want them apart of our lives. So, this reunion will be different but, it will be so nice to all be together to keep growing as a family. Love you all and can't wait to see!
