Year End Preschool Field Trip

on the Front Runner Train to the Discovery Gateway Chidren's Museum!
The last field trip of the year was on the train, the front runner train down to salt lake city to the Discovery Gateway.
..
Abbie and Kaden were SO excited for the train to come!
..This is the kids first time riding the front runner....

They loved the Magnetix Table. The kids love building things and being creative!
We ate our lunch on the helicopter terrace. The kids got to play on the life flight helicopter after they finished their lunches.
..
This was Abbie's FAVORITE thing in the entire place. She loved scaling all the different routes. She got Kaden excited about trying it and kept giving him pointers when she found a good way to go.
..
There was a replica horse there in the barn. The kids could ride it and feed it bails of  hay. They loved it!
The water river was really fun. There were toys and ways to make the water move wheels. Really fun!
Kaden loved the musical instruments!
..
The kids loved the bee hive ball place but, quickly moved onto other things to do!
This was a great field trip and the kids have talked about taking Isaac and Dad back sometime so they can ride on the cool train and see the Discovery Gateway! Such a fun year end field trip!!

Let's go fly a Kite!

It was finally nice enough to take the kids to the park to fly kites. It was overcast with a very slight breeze. We actually made plans in the morning to take the kids after Isaac was out of school and by the time we left we didn't think we were going to get the kites up because it was not windy at all.

It turned out perfect and there was just enough of a breeze to be great fun with the kids. They loved it! They could control the kites by themselves.
The kids were so funny about letting their strings out...they all wanted to be out the farthest. Then they started doing tricks. Their best trick was getting tangled with each other and then getting untangled!
The kids have already asked a few times since if we can go to the park to fly kites. We really had a fun time!

Kaden's kite was anakin skywalker, Isaac's was yoda and Abbie had tinkerbell. Kaden loved throwing his kite up to get it in the air then would run to Reed and get his string. He wanted to do every part of flying his kite.
Isaac flew his kite right over me so I could get a picture of his "COOL" kite. You're right buddy, Yoda is so cool!

Tinkerbell....Abbie's Kite!

This was the only picture I have of all three kids kites in the same picture. They loved doing tricks with their kites...even if it meant getting tangled. Which somehow they always got untangled. The kids got such a laugh out of watching their kites fly!
They kept wanting to get their kites higher, so they would run. They kept going until they were all three at the fence. They had to slowly walk their kites back to the other side of the soccer field.

Then we had to roll up the strings and start over at the other end of the soccer field. It was such a fun family activity!
We will definetely go fly kites again....it was SO fun!

Preschool Graduation

Abbie and Kaden at the Preschool Graduation Program!
This year's graduation preschool program was so cute! The kids did great showing all the songs that they had learned and some poems too.
Kaden's part was in the V.I.P. song...he did such a good job!
Abbie was the gardener in the mother's day song....but, my camera ran out of batteries. I guess I shouldn't wait a couple weeks before charging and a few hundred pictures later...maybe a thousand pictures...but, who's counting?
I am sad I didn't get a picture of Abbie in her graduation cap. That's what I really wished I had batteries for but, you can't win everything. So, I guess I'll have to just take a picture of her in her cap for her book. Kaden got a certificate of advancement because he will go to preschool again next year. He loves it!!
The school did such a great job and the kids have such a good time everytime they go.  I've been impressed by the projects the kids bring home...definetely not a dull moment!
I am glad Abbie and Kaden that you've loved school so much because this is the beginning of journey for many years to come!
