"Just when all seems to be going right, challenges often come in multiple doses applied simultaneously. When those trials are not consequences of your disobedience, they are evidence that the Lord feels you are prepared to grow more. He therefore gives you experiences that stimulate growth, understanding, and compassion which polish you for your everlasting benefit."
- Richard G. Scott
MY BROTHERS
"When suffering, we may in fact be nearer to God, than we have been in our entire lives. That knowledge can turn every such situation into a would-be temple. Regarding our earthly journey, the Lord has promised: "I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left. My spirit shall be in your hearts and mine angels round about you to bear you up. That is an everlasting declaration of God's love and care for us and perhaps especially in times of trouble."

Painful moments in the lives of families is what helps to keep them strong. I am so thankful for the gospel. We pray for your family and hope that you may gain strength from them. I am so sorry we won't be able to attend the funeral, but hopefully you know that we love you just as much :).
