I can't believe it's time for school to start already! Isaac is starting 2nd grade and Abbie in Kindergarten.
I can't believe you are big enough to start Kindergarten!
Out of everything we bought for school clothes Abbie liked this pair of white jean pants. She talked me into buying them and that is what she told me for weeks that she wanted to wear her first day of school and she did.
Isaac and Abbie were excited to go to school together. They are great little buddies and Isaac held her hand as they went into the building by themselves on the second day of school. Such a great big brother!
We found Isaac's locker where he put his book bag and then found his desk that already had a book waiting for him to read. The teacher let them pick out the color of pencil box and a sharpener for their desk. Then they got to read quietly while they waited for school to start. His teacher is big into reading...Yeah, Isaac loves to read!!
After we dropped Isaac off, we went to Kindergarten for orientation. Abbie was able to meet the teacher and kids in their class. They got their first homework book with new pencils. Abbie choose a green pencil, her favorite color!
Then we got to take her home with us. Yeah, one more day til' we have to cry as she walks into the school by herself. I just didn't expect this day to come so soon. We had to park a little bit away so Dad carried her on his shoulders back to the car. Kaden was able to come with us and he was really excited to see what he will get to do next year. All-in-all a great first day of school. Isaac loves his teacher and is excited to go again today. Abbie walked into school and was such a brave little one, not scared at all. I think this will be another great year of school. I just can't believe that they are this old already!
Oh my goodness I can't believe that your kids are already this big either. Abbie in school, she is just growing up too fast. As I was looking at this post Lynee walked up and was looking at the pictures with me. She grabbed my arm and hugged it and said "Mommy, I just love Abbie". It was so cute.
